The Day Intensive Program (DIP) is the largest intensive ESL program in New York City and one of the largest in the United States. The program offers |
- Full-time academic ESL instruction
- Two schedules: Monday through Friday (morning
program) or Monday through Thursday (afternoon program). See Yearly
Calendar for more details.10 levels of proficiency, from beginner
to advanced.
- A comprehensive curriculum that
helps students develop the academic English language skills needed
to succeed in college, graduate school or a professional career.
- Specialized workshops and electives
that intermediate and advanced students can choose from, including:
Grammar,
Vocabulary, Dance as a Second Language, Business English, American Pop Culture
and many more.
- College Advisement.
- Entrance to City University of New York without the TOEFL upon completion of the highest level.
AFTERNOON SPECIALIZED WORKSHOPS
We also offer Writing, TOEFL, Listening/Speaking, and Vocabulary through Reading workshops in the afternoon. Please see the Specialized Workshop page for more information.
