Victoria Badalamenti, Director, The English Language Center, has worked in the field of English as a Second Language (ESL) for over 37 years as an instructor (U.S., Europe), teacher trainer (U.S., China, Chile—Fulbright scholarship, and Czech Republic), textbook author (Grammar Dimensions: Form, Meaning and Use: Book 1), workshop presenter and administrative director. She started in the Division of Adult and Continuing Education in 1986 as program coordinator for TELC and was appointed director of the center in 1991. Ms. Badalamenti graduated with a BA in Classical Literature from Brooklyn College and earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. “TELC provides the language skills students need to get ahead in the workplace or pursue further education,” says Ms. Badalamenti. “ACE is a comfortable, inspiring, and positive place to work in. I am surrounded by people whose goal in life is to help others.” |
