I really wanted to master speaking English and I knew that in order to accomplish this goal, I would have to really commit myself and get involved in different activities.  Not only did I study in several different classes, but I also improved my oral skills by working in the English Language Center office and tutoring in the Language Clinic.  The ESL Program at LaGuardia Community College played a key role in helping me achieve my goals.

Paola completed a Bachelor's Degree at Hunter College and currently works as a financial analyst for a Long Island company.
