Alan Jay Reiff, Evening Instructor
Alan J. Reiff has been an ESL Adjunct Lecturer at The English Language Center (TELC) since 1990. Mr. Reiff holds a BA Degree in Theater Arts from Adelphi University and an MA Degree in Applied Linguistics/ Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages  (TESOL) from Queens College.

In 2005, Mr. Reiff was selected as a National Association of Bilingual Educators Teaching Ambassador in Suchow, China, where he taught Englishto middle and  high school students and did teacher training.

In 2007, he was awarded the United Federation of Teachers Sandy Feldman Fellowship to work with the  International Rescue Committee, where he created a family literacy/ESL curriculum to help refugees acquire English skills and adjust  to the local culture.
